What are Mitchell Design Dollars?
Mitchell Design Dollars are a credit toward the selections you make in the Mitchell Design Center. Every Mitchell home comes with $5,000, and the credit rises to as much as $25,000 depending on how much you personalize.
How do I get more than $5,000?
The credit rises with what you spend on selections. Spend $25,000 and we add $7,500. Spend $40,000 and we add $11,000. Spend $60,000 and we add $15,000. Spend $80,000 and we add $20,000. Spend $100,000 or more and we add $25,000.
What can Design Dollars be used for?
Anything in the Design Center, including cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, trim and millwork, doors, lighting and electrical, plumbing fixtures, appliances, paint and hardware.
What can they not be used for?
Structural options, decks, garages, basements, well and septic, site work and contract category options. They cannot come off the base price of the home and they cannot be taken as cash.
Do I have to choose my finishes before I sign?
No. Your Design Dollars are secured when you sign and your tier is determined later, when you make your selections at the Design Center.
Do I need a construction loan?
No. Mitchell funds every build in house. Zero down, zero closing costs and no construction loan.
